What if you lose your job #6: Job hunting

If it’s been a while since you were on the job market, probably the biggest change you’ll notice is that a lot of “help wanted” advertising has migrated online. Here, in alphabetical order, are links to some major job search sites. You may find others devoted specifically to your line of work.

If you get discouraged
Finding a new job can take some time, especially in an economy like this one. So keep at it, pace yourself, and try not to get too discouraged. If you feel overwhelmed, know that there’s plenty of help available for that too. Here, for example, is some advice from our health Web site on stress and depression.
