Hurricane victims get tax extension

Victims of Hurricane Gustav will get extensions on tax deadlines normal scheduled between September 15, 2008 and January 5, 2009. Those deadlines include quarterly estimated tax payments for individuals, normally due on September 15, and extended tax returns for 2007, normally due on October 15. Check the IRS Web site for details.
