If the survey of 17,129 readers about their experiences with 18 common projects, conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center survey, can serve as a guide, odds are high that something will go wrong with your next remodeling project.

Interesting facts. I am surprised to see the that high of a percentage for painting. I find going to your local my paint store (Not Home Depot or Lowes) has helped me complete my painting projects without problems.

I have a great local Benjamin Moore dealer in my area who knows everything about painting.

Wow that's great, & I'm slightly surprised on observing different factors & their cost contribution in remodeling. I think if we estimate remodeling cost of project before their starting, we can save not only cost, but also time & resources.
