I found this section from a simple Google search and I feel like I'm going around in circles looking for reports on wood pellet stoves. Does Consumer Reports have reviews on pellet stoves that are currently out there? I'm seriously considering one and totally trust the opinions of C.R.

Hi, I too am researching pellet stove fireplace inserts and am having difficulty getting information (other than the manufacturers' websites). I had hoped the CR would have tested pellet stove and fireplace inserts and had a report on them? Isn't that what Consumer Reports does?

I am looking for info on the highest rated-most efficient pellet stoves. I have only been directed to manufacturers websites.
Is ther any CR research and ratings on pellet stoves ANYWHERE?

If Consumer Reports is reading this blog please respond - there are many of us wanting to know the results of your testing pellet stoves and fireplace inserts! If CR has not tested yet are there plans in the near future to do so?

Hey Guys!!! Looks like there are several folks (me included) who are interested in some type of evaluation of Pellet Stoves. Any Plans?? Let us know please.
Editor's note: We will test them this spring/summer and plan to run a report next fall.

Where can I get ratings of hardwood pellets? I've used three brands and all three burn differently.
How about ratings of spray foam. I was at the hardware store the other day and I bought the popular brand " Great Stuff " since it was the one I had used before. There was at least another 4 brands, some cheaper, have you guy's compared this stuff?

I just subscribed to CR hoping to get rating information on pellet stoves. The one thing I wanted is not available! When will the information be available? I hate to think I will have to wait until the heating season is here. Thanks.

Please, we need your evaluations on pellet stoves. When can we hope to expect this? Heating season is nearly upon us and we'd like to make an informed decision, which is why we subscribe. PLEASE RESPOND!
