Re. Napoleon BBQ. I purchased a Napoleon Malibu BBQ in 2002 for more than $2000.00. I use it about 4 times/week for both rotisserie & grilling. The base has expanded such that the grill racks fall off. Napoleon has said that I must have exceeded the 1800 degree test limit for the base & said that the pics I sent them indicated that I'd had a grease fire....implying that this event(s)created the 1880+ problem. I am a long time barbeque guy, clean it often, can't recall any ferocious grease fires (other than flare ups), have had Ducane's & Weber's which were much older. I have no idea how the pics would have indicated anything except a well used BBQ. I am most upset that I had spent this much money on a BBQ which has lasted less than half the time of much less expensive BBQ's. Pic's & emails available.

Re. Napoleon BBQ. We purchased a 308RB last March after owning a 450RB for 12yrs it does not heat in the middle so you can not cook there after getting the run around from just about everyone at Napoleon in Barrie (where they are made) including the owners personel assistant we were informed there was nothing wrong with the BBQ it is working the way it is supposed to

Hello Consumer Report,

We purchased a Patio Range Grill in 2007. (barbeque)
Code SR7 G003017 PKO704
We have used it only 5 times, and have noticed inconsistency with the heating of the grill.
The first time we used it, it worked perfectly.
The 2nd and 3rd time, the heating would not exceed 250 degrees F
The 4th time the heat went up to 600 degrees F
5th time, the heating would not exceed 250 again.
The back burner does not light up!
We have refilled the Gas tank 3 times, and all times the tank was half full.
Not sure why this is happening, we think the barbeque is defective. Unfortunately we do not have the receipt to return it. Has anyone complained about this model in the past.
We purchased it at COSTCO in Markham, On CANADA.
Please advise, we don't know what to do next.
Thanks
Sophia
