Ah... Kodachrome. Still remember the days back when (1961-2) I became photo editor on Purdys (NY) High School year book and got to use the school's Argus C-3 with B&W film! And... had to follow the footsteps of great student photographers like Elliot Mossman! Really caught the photo bug... But what really turned my head was the discovery of Kodachrome later on. The colors, oh the colors! Sad to see it go... its a truly fond memory ... even as I'm Photoshopping my new digital pictures. Not quite the same as spending time in that darkroom of mine!

Kodachrome,I will miss you. I still have an un-opened roll of Kodachrome film, it will be sad to thow it out. I've used it for years until things went digital as with so many others. It was good while it lasted but how can you complain about the digital world. Kodachrome has had it's day and served so many well. Change is difficult but change that is meaningful is worthwhile. The digital erra is so in it's infant stages but growing by leaps and bounds. I still have tons of pictures that have been developed using Kodachrome. Loved it but my new love is not touchable like film was but is called digital and almost magical, and hey no need to throw out all those bad photo prints. Today if you don't like it you can still keep it and all it costs is a little more disc space. So goodbye and thanks for the many memories that you gave me for many years.
