2008 SEMA: Cruzin Cooler
Instead of dragging a heavy cooler filled with drinks through parking lots and along beach boardwalks, why not drive it? Amid project cars and aftermarket components at the SEMA show, we found the Cruzin Cooler, a drivable cooler that does 13 mph. It has a two to four hour cruising range with a six-hour recharge. You can opt for electric power or a two-stroke gas engine. It also comes with disc brakes and holds 24 cans.
If you're really thirsty, spring for the Coolagon, an unpowered trailer of the same size that you can tow with your Cruzin Cooler. It holds another 36 cans. For large gatherings, several Coolagons can be assembled into a cooler convoy.
If nothing else, this is surely a great line to rep at a trade show. After walking miles of product aisles, our team was looking longingly at the mobile coolers.
And yes, it has a cup holder.
