I have to say on a road trip this week end it was so refreshing to see gas prices down. In Indiana, we paid $2.99 a gallon. The same trip five weeks ago when we brought our daughter to school, cost us almost 30% more. Of course we just spent more money on eating and drinking. Hey, some of us our doing our share to boost the economy!

It sickens me to hear the news and other so called "experts" try to pull the wool over our eyes once again about gas prices. For the first time in quite a while, we have gas prices at pumps trickling back down to where they should have been the whole time and OPEC wants to cut production? I guess the billions and billions that oil companies made last year just wasn't good enough of a profit. Oh, and for your self-righteous morons who want to lecture me on the basics of supply and demand, I hold a Masters in Economics and Business Administration. I am no stranger to supply and demand. Its time to get realistic and own up to the greed problem that plagues this industry year in and year out. I am sure that I am in the majority when I see gas around $2.60 or so and smile...reflecting on the amount of money that I will be saving to put meals on the table for my family or have a tad bit extra spending money to throw at the dwindling marketplaces hit by hard economic times (a whole other story).
