Wowwie Zowwie! Diesel fuel is $0.70 a gallon more than regular unleaded! That's a 20% premium. No big savings if a new diesel car gets 25% better gas mileage but costs a 10% premium. Sounds like a wash unless diesel fuel prices drop, but if the spread gets wider... I hate this fuel gambling game. :(

Is this going to kill teenager careers? How many teens will become disenchanted with their purchasing power and decide not to work at all (and stay at home with Mom and Dad?)? After all they don't have a credit report to worry about?
Did you give up your spending last month and give money to your "needy teenagers"? Do you have to run a gallon of gas to them because they run out on the side of the road?
Can Congress just set aside one coast line (the West) off limits for drilling and open up the Atlantic and Gulf Coast? Or do we want to send thank you letters to our "representatives" of Congress declaring that without their support, we could not look forward to endless stays of our children, and their "homeless behavior"?

The government may have to consider at some point that the price of oil is too high to enforce patents and royalties on oil producing equipment used to get oil out of the ground?
Would the price of oil go down if the costs of drilling were subsidized or discounted by the government? If more land owners could afford to drill, would they? Getting oil out of the ground today is like like getting a ten thousand dollar tow bill after your car breaks down on the freeway and you get it towed to the repair shop?

Wow! I pay money for this?
Gas is $4.00 a gallon and most gas companies are puting signs on their pumps saying: Our gas contains 10% or less of Ethanol.
How crazy of me to look to this paid unbiased institution (CR) to actually tell me what this means, who is doing this and how to avoid it.
Good Job Guys!!

We're not paying $3.80 per gal. In reality we are paying $8.00 a gal when you take into consideration the daily increased costs of our food, household items, medications, postal rates, clothing, etc. Our cost of living is going up and our paychecks are shrinking week by week. However, oil companies and their stockholders rake in the sweet revenues. So next time you're filling up your gas tank just pat yourself on the back knowing how you are contributing to the continued well-being of the oil industry and their stockholders.
